Jason Mraz's 'I'm Yours' smashes Billboard record, remains totally unkillable
The four-minute song "I'm Yours" that Jason Mraz said was his happy little hippie song shattered a pretty serious record this week which now at 70 weeks on the Billboard charts. It’s now the longest-running song on the Hot 100 chart in Billboard’s 51-year history. According to Reuters, it’s also the only track to reach Number 1 on each of the following four radio-based charts: Mainstream Top 40/Pop Songs, Adult Contemporary, Adult Top 40, and Triple A. It has also found its way to charts for Latin Pop(!) and Smooth Jazz, and debuts this week at Rhythmic. (Admits the singer: “Perhaps the song is genre-less. The first two and a half minutes have so little production you could almost classify it as spoken-word.”)
Do you think it deserves to take the spot from LeAnn and other long-runners like Carrie Underwood (”Before He Cheats,” 64 weeks), Jewel (”Foolish Games/You Were Meant for Me,” 65 weeks), Lifehouse (”You and Me,” 62 weeks) and, Lord help us, Los del Rio (”Macarena,” 60 weeks)
เริ่ดมั้ยล่ะ
