Jennifer Lopez to Become Judge on American Idol
Looks like Jennifer Lopez will be “putting on her Louboutins” for a new role next year — judge on American Idol. The superstar singer/actress has accepted one of the two vacant judges’ chairs on the Idol panel, OK! has learned exclusively.

“Jennifer accepted the Idol judge position,” an Idol insider confirms to OK!. “They are ironing out contracts as we speak so unless something goes wrong it’s a done deal.”

J. Lo’s Idol acceptance comes directly after Ellen DeGeneres announced her decision to depart the hit FOX talent show after only one season.
“The performer has agreed to appear on the show for the same amount of money as Ellen,” according to our source. “She’s getting Ellen’s salary which is why Ellen resigned today.”

But FOX is not divulging any news on the new judging panel just yet.
“We have no comment,” a rep for the network told OK!.
