Actor Matthew Settle has dismissed rumours that his Gossip Girl co-star Taylor Momsen has been banned from the set of the TV drama. Settle, 41, who plays Rufus Humphrey in the US TV show, insisted that Momsen has been concentrating on her band The Pretty Reckless. Momsen, who stars as Jenny Humphrey in the hit show, has not featured much in the current series. Some reports had suggested that the 17-year-old actress-singer was banned from the New York set for allegedly having a bad attitude. But Settle, who plays her on-screen dad, said that Momsen's absence from filming is because she is busy working on her music career. He told ITV's This Morning: "[Saying she's banned is] a severe way of putting it. "I don't think she's been banned from the set, I think she's off doing her own thing, creating her own music — she's very good at music."
