Mary J. Blige is reportedly in talks about joining the cast for a silver-screen adaptation of the Broadway musical 'Rock of Ages'.
The singer is said to be considering the film role and is discussing the project with New Line Cinemas, and if it all goes ahead it is likely to hit cinemas next year, according to Wenn.com.
Tom Cruise is also rumoured to be joining the cast in a supporting role for the musical as is Taylor Swift.
The stage production recieved several award nominations last year and now production bosses are hoping to get a similar response with a film-version.
The plot is about a couple who meet in a Los Angeles strip joint and then go on to fall in love. It also features the music of Journey and Bon Jovi.
