เพราะว่ามันเป็นประโยค if clause ไง ในกรณีนี่คือ type 2 condition นั่นคือ การสมมติสิ่งที่เป็นไปไม่ได้จริงๆ เช่น If I were you, I wouldn't do that. จะไม่ใช้ "was"

คือยังงัยก็เป็นไปไม่ได้นะคร่ะ เค้าเลยทำให้รูปแบบมันผิดเพิ้นไปตามจริง

ก็เลยใช้ คำว่า were ตาม I คร่ะ เพื่อแสดงว่า ยังงัยก็เป็นไปไม่ได้
