Quincy Jones tells FOX News that he’s working on a Michael Jackson tribute album scheduled for release next spring. About two dozen hip-hop and R&B stars are recording Jones’ songs for the compilation, which will include a collaboration between Usher and John Mayer.

“We’re trying to set up something for Mariah Carey now,” said the legendary producer behind Jackson’s Thriller and Bad albums.

As of now, Jackson has no plans to participate in the project.

And There's been a lot of talk about celebs making a Michael Jackson tribute album, and it seems things are finally moving along.

Madonna, Beyoncé, Mariah Carey and Robbie Williams are just some of the big performers planning on recording the tribute album, along with Whitney Houston, Usher, "Brit schoolboy sensation Shaheen Jafargholi," Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, and Lionel Richie.

According to the The Daily Star:

Mariah will sing "I’ll Be There" and Britain’s Got Talent star Shaheen, who wowed fans at the Los Angeles memorial with his version of "Who’s Loving You," will be asked to record that track and Jacko’s 1970s smash "Ben."

Madonna could be tempted by "Beat It" or "Billie Jean," while other songs expected to be covered include "Rock With You," "She’s Out Of My Life" and "Bad."
,Also Urban Soul legenary Sir duke Stevie Wonder Will solo the big balld "You Are Not Alone" And covered other song like "Will You Be There","They Don't Care About Us".

And Robbie is being lined up to sing "Man In The Mirror" amid reports his former Take That bandmates could cover "ABC," "Working Day And Night" or "Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough."
and Jones said that He's will asked and making a huge Bigest vibe collerbaration In Pop culture artist like Justin Timberlak,Kanye West,Black Eyed Pea,Andre 3000(Outkast),Queen Latifah,Elton John,R.Kelly.Christina Aguilera,Britney Spears And Absolutly The King of Pop sister Janet Jackson.
