According to a FOX press release, tween sensation Miley Cyrus will be mentoring the 'Idol' top 11 this week.
The news may come as a bit of a surprise, considering that Cyrus has never had a number-one single in her career, despite numerous top-selling albums.Her closest attempt: this summer's 'Party in the USA,' which came in at number two on the Billboard Hot 100.
Incidentally, this week's theme was originally supposed to be "Teen Idols" week, which may explain Miley's involvement with the show.
Fellow-Disney singers Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato (who recently announced their couple-dom, with the sickeningly sweet nickname 'Jemi') will perform their duet 'Make a Wave' on Wednesday night's results show.
