blasts in at the summit.

Spears previously launched at the apex with "3" the week of Oct. 24, 2009. She joins Mariah Carey as the only acts to arrive at No. 1 more than once. Carey made such grand entrances with "Fantasy" and "One Sweet Day" in 1995 and "Honey" in 1997. (All charts will be refreshed tomorrow (Jan. 20) on Billboard.com).

After its first week of release in the digital radio, Hold It Against Me debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 as in the United States.

It is his fourth No. 1 according to Toxic,Gimme More, Womanizer and 3. It is the sixth song that manages to debut at the top after Crack a Bottle of Eminem, Dr. Dre and 50 Cent, Today Was a Fairytale of Taylor Swift, Wavin 'Flag of Haiti Various Artists, Not Afraid of Eminem and California Gurls Katy Perry.

The song also reached a No. 1 debut on Digital Songs with 37,000 downloads.
